Two Charged in Business Break OUT PDF Print

Caldwell Sheriff Alan C. Jones announced that a December 16, 2013 incident at the Q Express on Abington Road in Lenoir has now led to two arrests.  A review of the surveillance footage inside the business showed that just prior to closing time, a male and a female entered the business, the surveillance footage showing that the female hid in the drink cooler of the business until the business closed.  Once closed, the female exited the drink cooler and removed a substantial sum of money from the business, then just walked out.  Investigators with the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office were able to develop early leads in the case and identified the subjects, leading to the arrests of Daniel Lee Price and Amanda Marie King.  Arrest warrants were issues for the two December 16th, and after an extensive search and after receiving a tip as to their location, Investigators and the Patrol Division arrested the couple on January 14th at the Food Lion on Wilkesboro Boulevard.   Any other information about this case should be provided to Detective Kim Britt at 828-759-1554.   
Daniel Lee Price , age 26 of Lenoir, NC has been Charged with:

  • Conspiracy to Commit Breaking and Entering
  • Conspiracy to Commit Felony Larceny

Amanda Marie King, age 25, of Lenoir has been Charged with:

  • Conspiracy to Commit Breaking and Entering
  • Conspiracy to Commit Felony Larceny
  • Breaking out of a Dwelling
  • Larceny after Breaking and Entering

Daniel Lee Price  and Amanda Marie King were placed in the Caldwell County Detention Center under $25,000.00 secured bonds.
