There were some injuries—and a man charged with a number of counts after a mid-afternoon crash yesterday in Valle Crucis. Trooper Brad Hyatt said that the single-vehicle wreck occurred just before 3pm on Dutch Creek Extension when Terry Tester ran off of the road to his left, his 2003 Ford sedan crashing off of the road.  Foscoe fire/First responders were called to the scene along with Watauga Medics, but injuries were not regarded as serious in the crash, and Trooper Hyatt charged Terry Tester, 61, of Dutch Creek Road, with DWI, Failing to Comply with license restrictions and Reckless Driving.
