November truck theft: Arrest made PDF Print
Monday, 31 December 2007 05:25

Boone Police Officers say they know who’s responsible for the November 9th theft of a 2003 Chevrolet truck.

The vehicle was reported stolen from 124 Realty Row. 20-year-old Daniel Scott Labdon of Burnsville was arrested and charged in the incident in Yancey County on Friday and transported back to Boone. The investigation in Boone led to an oustanding warrant for Labdon, Boone's Sgt. Jim Wilson says.  Labdon was entered in the state's crime database and a Yancey County traffic stop led to the arrest. Labdon faces a larceny of a motor vehicle charge. He was placed on a $5,000 secured bond. Officers say an additional arrest in the case is expected.
