Caldwell authorities say they know who is responsible for two breaking and enterings at the Double C Acres Ranch off Packs Hill Road in Gamewell.  The first break-in happened on December 9. Someone was alleged to have entered the living quarters and office area by removing hinges from a doorway. Money and firearms were reported missing. The second break-in happened on December 20 and food, cleaning and personal hygiene items, jewelry and competition belt buckles were among items alleged taken. Deputies say both break-ins were performed by the same pair: 25-year-old Joshua Allen McCloud of Pisgah Church Road and 19-year-old Michael Bradley Forth of Lenoir. Both men have been charged with felony breaking and entering, felony larceny and felony possession of stolen goods. Additionally, Forth has also been charged with felony financial card theft, felony forgery and felony attempted uttering. The men were caught when McCloud attempted to pass a forged stolen check at the Bank of Granite in Lenoir. Both suspects confessed, reports say- and all items were returned.
