Thursday, 20 December 2007 05:14

Watauga High School football stars Eric Breitenstein and Casey Augustine were honored by a panel of sportswriters from across the state Wednesday.

The two were voted onto the Associated Press’ All-State football team roster. Breitenstein finished this season with 2,445 yards rushing and 29 touchdowns on 289 carries. Augustine was the key blocker for Breitenstein. With the help of Breitenstein and Augustine, the Watauga High School Pioneers made it to the NCHSAA 4-A semifinals this season.
