Watauga Sheriff Releases Price Assault Report PDF Print

The Watauga Sheriff’s Office has released a report on an incident from early Saturday morning that involved a star ASU football player who was released from the team Sunday. The Watauga Sheriff’s report is of an incident just before 1am Saturday at a Vilas area apartment.  The report indicates that a 20-year old student was grabbed by the throat and choked at 108 Darby Court, but offers no specifics were included in the released report.  Accompanying the report was an arrest sheet, showing charges filed against 20-year old Sean Anthony Price, listing 149 Darby Court as his address. Charges include Felony Assault by Strangulation, and misdemeanors of being Intoxicated and Disruptive, and Resisting a Public Officer. Price was set a $20,000 bond, and 24 hours later, on Sunday, was dismissed from the ASU football team by coach Scott Satterfield.
