Three Ashe County fire departments have now cleared the scene of a mobile home fire, found fully involved by both the first caller to 9-1-1 and the first arriving units.  The call came in at 5:50 this morning from neighbors to the 1084 Muddy Branch Road home, units from Creston, Warrensville, and Pond Mountain dispatched along with Ashe Rescue dispatched, the first unit arriving at 5:56 reporting that the trailer was fully on fire. The family who had been in the trailer had moved most of their belongings from the home, power had been turned off, so property loss was mostly limited to the trailer—which was a total loss.  The Ashe Fire Marshal is investigating into the cause.
