A month long investigation into prostitution led Lenoir Police to the internet for the advertising and to a local motel to make five arrests.  The probe centered on the Days Inn on Blowing Rock Road, according to the police release, initiated after a number of complaints about the apparently organized operation, police saying that they found how to reach out to the ring, then made their sting with undercover officers.  Lenoir residents Arlene Alexander, 30 and Kristy Kay Laws, 36, Hickory resident Phyllis Holton Moretz, 54, 44-year old Teresa Annas Compton of Granite Falls, and Morganton resident Brandy Lynnette Henley, 31, were all charged with Engaging in Prostitution, each set $2000 bonds.  Police say the probe is ongoing, and anyone with information should call Caldwell Crimestoppers at 828-758-8300 or Lenoir Police at 828-757-2100.
