img_2143_small.jpg Just after four, an entourage rolled into the parking lot at Kidd Brewer Stadium in Boone- including fire trucks, squad cars, and three very special busses.

Appalachian State University’s historic Mountaineer Football team is back in Boone, and Aisling Broadcasting was there to celebrate. Tune in Monday for homecoming highlights.

We asked Chancellor Kenneth Peacock what he thought of the Sports Illustrated curse now. He says this victory says it all. Now he’s ready for a four-peat. As for Coach Jerry Moore? He says he’s still taking it one day at a time.

The Mountaineers defeated the Delaware Blue Hens to win their third consecutive national Football Championship Subdivision title- a feat never before accomplished. From the Big House to the Hen House, Moore says- it’s victory for the Mountaineers!
