Moore and Keeler: Nothing but admiration for opponent PDF Print
Friday, 14 December 2007 14:10

Tonight’s National Championship matches Delaware Coach K.C. Keeler’s Blue Hens against Coach Jerry Moore’s Mountaineers.

While Moore is known for carefully studying the opposing team, he’s not the only one. Keeler’s been paying close attention to quarterback Armanti Edwards.

“He was playing at a different speed than everyone else on the field, so you need to manage him. You’re not going to stop him. If he makes that big play, you just can’t let him make a second big play in a row.”

Keeler has nothing but admiration for his opponent.

“They’re just a great opponent, and we’re real excited about it. I think it’s going to be an incredible football game.”

Moore expects Delaware to be the best team ASU has faced this season.

“They’re well coached. Their quarterback is a pro-prospect. He’s got a great arm. They’ve got a good running back, a good solid defense.”

All agree it’s going to be a touch match- and that means a good ball game.
