It takes a special kind of football team to handle the kind of press the Mountaineers got after the Michigan victory.

Quarterback Armanti Edwards isn’t the only one proud of how his Mountaineers kept their focus.

“I think we handled it very well. We still got distractions from the game, but we’ve made it this far, so I think we handled it well.”

Despite what the Michigan game did for the Mountaineers’ image nationally- tonight’s match is the game to watch, Edwards says.

“If we wouldn’t have gotten back to the National Championship, that game wouldn’t have meant nothing.”

Mountaineers face off against the Delaware Blue Hens tonight in Chattanooga for the national championship.

A Mountaineer victory would mean a third consecutive national title- an unprecedented feat. Win or lose- tailgating for this game is something you won’t want to miss.
