Crimestoppers Seeks Suspect in Wallet Theft PDF Print

Boone Police are asking the public to view video stills from the Boone WalMart store to help in finding a man who picked up another man’s wallet.  In the High Country Crime Stoppers release, Boone Police are seeking  the Hispanic male who picked up another man’s wallet, dropped as the victim left the checkout station.  The incident occurred August 10th at about 9:30 that night, pictures showing the wallet on the floor and the man approaching and picking up the wallet. He is described as approximately 5’8” tall and weighing 170 pounds.  The suspect was accompanied by young female child.  Anyone with information on this crime or any other crime is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 828-268-6959 / 828-737-0125 or the Boone Police Department at 828-268-6900.  All information will be kept confidential.
High Country Crime Stoppers pays rewards for information, which leads to arrests; recovery of stolen property; seizure of drugs and the location of wanted persons.
