Two players left behind: Still no official word PDF Print
Wednesday, 12 December 2007 22:30
While rumor mills have been circulating, there’s no official reason given for why the Mountaineer football team left behind two of its own.
Starting defensive cornerback Justin Woazeah and reserve lineman Chris Johnson have not been suspended, according to sports-information director Mike Flynn, but Flynn does acknowledge that the pair was not on Tuesday’s bus to Chattanooga. A decision on their playing status is expected soon. In the meantime, Coach Jerry Moore’s office still has no comment for the press.
