Hickory remains identified PDF Print
Wednesday, 12 December 2007 22:23

Skeletal remains discovered in a wooded area behind the Hickory Wal-Mart last summer belonged to a Hickory-area homeless man, pathologists say.

The North Carolina Medical Examiner’s Office and anthropologists at Western Carolina University have been investigating the remains, and say they are of 53-year-old Charles Eugene Camp. Camps’ bones were found partially clothed and partially buried. The incident remains under investigation as a possible homicide. Anyone with information on what happened to Camp is asked to call 828-328-5551.
