West Caldwell High School, Ashe County High School, West Wilkes High School nationally recognized PDF Print

Three local high schools were named among the top high schools in the nation by U.S. News and World Report. 
West Caldwell, West Wilkes and Ashe County high schools received a bronze medal in the inaugural list, which hits the stands today. The Report looked at college readiness among other factors. 1,086 high schools nationwide were awarded a bronze, 405 schools received silver and 100 schools earned gold awards.
