Two people were injured in a collision between a pickup carrying yard equipment in a trailer behind it and an SUV, which ended up flipped over against a guardrail on US 321 yesterday afternoon.  The 3:45pm wreck occurred near the Bishop’s Creek intersection, with the SUV off of the road, the jackknifed truck-trailer combination in the north-bound lane, but injuries did not appear to be life-threatening, as both Watauga Medics ambulances that responded transported their patients non-emergency traffic to Watauga Medical Center. The State Patrol has the wreck under investigation.
