Four people were apprehended in Lenoir after a Caldwell woman was reported missing.

After receiving a report that her vehicle had been seen in the area, officials found missing person Amanda West on December 3- in a stolen vehicle from Tennessee. West’s arrest on a possession of a stolen motor vehicle charge provided officers with information that a Tennessee fugitive was staying at Lenoir’s Red Carpet Inn. Lenoir Police arrested 29-year-old Enoch Paul Taylor of Granite Falls and charged him with possession of a schedule two controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia on top of his fugitive warrant. Johnson City officials have an outstanding warrant on Taylor for larceny of a motor vehicle. A search of the hotel room yielded 13.6 grams of powder cocaine, 2.5 grams crack cocaine and $14,420 in cash. It also yielded two more arrests, 47-year-old Roby Fox and 21-year-old Hollie Michelle Jackson, both of Lenoir, face possession charges for a schedule two controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. Additionally, Fox was charged with manufacturing a vehicle/dwelling or place for the purpose of selling or manufacturing a controlled substance.
