Still no answers in suspicious death PDF Print
Wednesday, 05 December 2007 21:42
Watauga County Sheriff’s Office still has no new information on the unexplained death of a 50-year-old woman in Blowing Rock last week.
Sharon Yates of Clarence Newton Road was found dead at her camper home just after 11:30 p.m. on November 28. A medical examiner’s report estimates the cause of death to be “blunt force chest trauma,” and says the injuries are consistent to someone being hit with a motor vehicle. The State Bureau of Investigations has been assisting deputies since Tuesday. Deputies and investigators are still conducting interviews- a process that Sheriff Len Hagaman hopes will lead to answers.
