Tuesday, 04 December 2007 21:02
The State Bureau of Investigations and Watauga County Sheriff’s Office are still investigating the death of a 50-year-old woman in Blowing Rock.
Sharon Yates of Clarence Newton Road was found dead at her camper home just after 11:30 p.m. on November 28. Officials began seriously investigating the case after a medical examiner returned with a report naming the cause of death as “blunt force chest trauma.” Detective Dee Dee Rominger says the incident is “still under investigation” and offers no further comment. We’ll have more information as it becomes available.
