Caldwell deputies apprehended a Lenoir man after seizing more than $1,000 in cocaine from his Calico Road residence.
Agents with the Sheriff’s Office Intercounty Counterdrug Enforcement Unit got a tip that illegal drugs were being sold at the home of 21-year-old Reginald Van Dula Jr. Last week, officers searched Dula’s residence, and, with the assistance of K-9 “Kilo,” seized more than .25 ounce of powder cocaine, a surveillance camera system and $2,000 in cash. Deputies estimate the cocaine is worth over $1,000. Dula was charged with felony possession with intent to sell/deliver cocaine and felony maintaining a dwelling place to keep/store cocaine. Dula was held under a $20,000 secured bond.
