Boone Christmas Parade starts at 9 a.m. PDF Print
Thursday, 29 November 2007 18:00

The Boone Christmas Parade’s a must-see event this year, Downtown Boone Development Association’s Mary Baker says.

It will feature everything from community groups to cloggers.

Holiday colors aren’t the only ones to be featured at the parade.

Black and Gold, celebrating Appalachian State University’s victorious Mountaineer football team, will also have representation.

Prior to the event the Watauga Education Foundation is sponsoring a Flapjack Flip breakfast at the High School- and they’re even providing a shuttle to the event at 8 a.m.

Step off is at 9 a.m. tomorrow, but participants are encouraged to meet at the Horn in the West parking lot between 7:30 and 8:30 a.m.
