Football alumni ‘part of the family’ PDF Print
Sunday, 18 November 2007 22:44

Kevin Richardson wasn’t the only one to get recognition at Saturday’s football game.

Mountaineer football alumni from as early as 1986 were on hand to be part of the victory.

Chancellor Peacock told Mark Harvey, a former Mountaineer safety, that football alumni are part of each victory. Harvey’s been especially proud to be a Mountaineer lately.

“When we were here, we were not very good, so being part of the ASU family, it’s huge for us,” Harvey says.

Harvey wasn’t alone. A group of fifteen former players spent the weekend reminiscing.

Former defensive back Jeff Vincent says Boone’s full of memories.

“My favorite memory here is these guys,” Vincent says of his former teammates.

Some of the men haven’t been in Boone since they were students.
