Watauga to start superintendent search PDF Print
Friday, 16 November 2007 11:55

Avery’s not the only system that will soon have a new superintendent.

As Watauga superintendent Dr. Bobbie Short announced to principals yesterday, she’s planning to retire at the end of the school year to spend more time with her family.

She has one regret- that she won’t be in office long enough to see the completion of the new high school.

Short's already requested an invitation to the opening.

Short predicts they’ll start looking for a new superintendent after the first of the year.
