Watauga holds man on million dollar bond PDF Print

taylor.jpegRutherford County Sheriff’s Office notified Watauga officials this morning that a man living in the Boone area is wanted for assault. Rutherford County officials had warrants against George Thomas Taylor for assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury, and assault on a female.

Taylor was alleged to be living in the Boone area doing construction work under the alias Tim Campbell. Taylor was doing construction work in the Banner Elk area of Avery County. Authorities in Avery and Watauga worked together to apprehend Taylor at a construction site today without incident. Taylor is in Watauga custody and has been placed on a $1,000,000  bond.
