Sociology major Jonathan Ray Thompson of High Point has been charged with three counts of misdemeanor possession of Schedule III drugs, steroids and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia. The charges stem from a search warrant executed at a residence on the 2000 block of Highway 105 on October 6. Items believed to be steroids as well as syringes were seized and sent to an SBI lab for analysis. Ray was held on a $1,000 bond and faces a December 6 court date.
