Police question Hickory woman’s injuries PDF Print
Tuesday, 13 November 2007 21:42

An update on a story we brought you yesterday- Hickory police are trying to determine what happened to a woman found beaten in her apartment on Third Avenue.

Evidence and interviews have led police to believe 53-year-old Kathy Bowie was not assaulted by another person. The maintenance man who found Bowie Monday described her as bloody and battered, leading police to initially believe she was attacked. Bowie is still at Frye Regional Medical Center. Police are actively investigating- and if you have any information, give them a call at 828-328-5551.
