|Ashe Woodworking wins Small Business Award|

The Ashe County Chamber of Commerce has awarded its
Small Business of the Year award to Ashe Woodworking of Lansing.
Ashe Woodworking’s first shop opened in 2000 in Raleigh and was named for where the owners wanted to live. The Ashe County facility began construction in 2001, and owners Mike and Maria Whaley moved to the area in 2002. N.C. Rep. Cullie Tarleton and N.C. Sen. Steve Goss were among those present at the awards ceremony Wednesday.
