The Watauga Sheriff’s Office is being very careful in releasing information about an arrest this week, protecting the identity of a juvenile victim. 23-year-old Timothy Michael Swinney-Taylor of Boone was arrested Monday following allegations that he molested a child younger than 13. The 387 Sugarloaf Road, Boone resident was served a warrant for two counts of felony first-degree sex offense on a child and four counts of felony indecent liberties with a child, according to Cpt. Dee Dee Rominger.  Rominger said that the victim was familiar known to Swinney-Taylor and that the incidents occurred during this past summer. Timothy Michael Swinney-Taylor was held at the Watauga Detention Center under $250,000 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in court Feb. 25, 2013. Rominger said that Watauga DSS is involved in the case.
