2 fugitives, 2 days= Optimum cooperation PDF Print
Friday, 02 November 2007 06:53

Robert Randall DeLuca’s capture marks the second Tennessee fugitive caught within a two-day time span.

Tuesday night, authorities apprehended alleged armed robber 23-year-old Steven Allen Bolick, also off 421 near the state line.

Watauga County Sheriff Len Hagaman says Watauga has to share the credit.

“The cooperation is paramount. We can’t do it by ourselves and we certainly rely on each other, in more ways that one,” he says.

Hagaman says his office routinely works with deputies in other counties, as well as Tennessee deputies.

“I just am excited and elated that we’re able to have that type of cooperation,” he says.

Hagaman also extended credit to local agencies like Boone Police Department . Last night's capture would have been impossible without the efforts of Watauga Communications, he says.
