Elkmont: No comment at this time PDF Print
Tuesday, 30 October 2007 08:21

A roofer fell fifteen feet from a construction site at the Lodges of Elkmont early yesterday afternoon in Avery County, and Elkmont officials aren’t talking.

While personnel at Elkmont promised an official statement today, Aisling Broadcasting has been told no such statement will be issued at this time.
Few details have been released about the incident, but we have been told the victim was airlifted to Johnson City Medical Center.

Elkmont’s own website touts itself as “a distinctive place to retreat and be with those most special to you, your family and friends.” The luxury townhouses and condominiums are located in Banner Elk.
