California firefighters get Carolina support PDF Print
Wednesday, 24 October 2007 21:41
A series of devastating wildfires continue to threaten southern California.  Hundreds of homes have been lost and several injured in blazes some officials are calling the worst in history. The trucks, containing wheelbarrows, chainsaws, axes and other firefighting tools, left North Wilkesboro yesterday and are expected to arrive in California by the weekend.
