A small vehicle blaze at Hampton's Body Shop after one p.m. today was easily contained by Boone firefighters.
Rain caused a short, firefighters say. The truck had been sitting in the parking lot since an accident on N.C. Highway 105 last Thursday. Mechanics were not working on the vehicle when it caught fire, and it only took three firefighters and about fifteen minutes to stifle the blaze.
