In an update to Friday’s fatal accident on NC 105, the brother of the 32-year old killed, Chrystalyn Marie Piscopo of Boone, wanted to find and thank those who tried to help his sister.  Nicholas Piscopo of Florida wrote through to help find the two women mentioned in the article about the fatal wreck—and anyone else who tried to help at the crash site.  Two women, in particular, a neighbor who came out to help, and a motorist who stopped—both offering a prayer for Chrystalyn at the scene as she died. The family will be holding a memorial service in Boone this Saturday, and would somehow like to thank those who helped.  Contact me through with any information. The crash that occurred just before 1:30 Friday morning on NC 105 when Piscopo’s 1998 Subaru station wagon went left of center and struck the flatbed tractor trailer nearly head-on.
