Arrest Made in Meat Camp Stabbing PDF Print

The Watauga Sheriff’s Office released the name of the woman charged and the man stabbed in an incident early last Thursday morning in Meat Camp. Wendy Melissa Miller, 38, was originally held without bond after being charged with the stabbing of boyfriend David Skattebo, 35, both of the same Longhope Road residence when the assault occurred. Skattebo was stabbed in the arm, and was found in woods behind the residence, but was not seriously injured.  Miller was arrested for Assault with a Deadly Weapon and was later set bond and was released pending court September 13th.
