Three people were hurt as a minivan turned in front of a limousine with 8 passengers late Saturday afternoon in front of Sagebrush in Boone on NC 105 at Wilson Drive.  One of the passengers of the limousine reported more serious injuries of numbness to areas on one side after the crash, while two others reported more minor injuries.  Watauga Medics, Boone Police and Fire responded to the 5:12pm crash site, initially treating the more serious injury, but two more ambulances were called to the scene as other injuries were realized.  The Boone Police report indicates that Bennie Lane Robinson III, 24, turned across oncoming traffic from southbound on 105 in the Wahoos Adventure-owned van, causing the wreck, and he was cited for Failure to Yield in making that turn toward Wilson Drive.  The injured were identified as Sidney Klein, 23, of Boone, Leigh Lucas, 58, of Roanoke, Virginia—both seated behind the driver of the limo, and Courtney Wait, 26, of Crumpler, two rows behind the driver.  No one in the passenger section of the limo was listed as using seatbelts. The collision disabled both vehicles, tearing the front bumper off the limo.
