Fire erupted in a Red Feather Trail home just about noon yesterday as a dryer was engulfed in flames.  The father of Renee Forrester and his granddaughter managed to escape the home just off Brookshire Road as Meat Camp and Boone firefighters arrived on the scene of the 12:03pm call, finding the dryer fully involved in flames and fire spreading into other areas adjacent to the laundry.  Fire smoke and water damage to the wood frame home was extensive, according to Paul Buchanan of the Fire Marshal’s office who said the fire was purely accidental.  The Forrester family is being aided by the American Red Cross.
