Four people were injured in the crash of an SUV into a tree late Saturday afternoon on Laurel Branch Road.  The crash occurred just after 4:30 near Forest Grove Road when Benjamin Trivette of Forest Grove Road lost control of his ’98 Honda Passport, skidding across the gravel portion of the road, slamming into a tree. Watauga Medics transported four of the five occupants from the scene to Watauga Medical Center, but Trooper Osborne said that none appeared to have life threatening injuries.  Transported were Benjamin Trivette, the driver, Zach Daniel, of Laurel Park, Michael Osborne of Stone Mountain Rd., and a girl, Taylor Clark, of Roby Cornett Road. Tim Harmon was listed as not hurt in the crash.  Trooper Osborne cited Benjamin Trivette with Failure to Maintain Lane Control, Left of Center, and Exceeding a Safe Speed.
