|Boone Police File Local Drug Charges|

During the morning hours of Friday May 4th, 2012, officers with the Boone Police Department Special Operations Response Team and Narcotics Division served a search warrant at 286 Sunset Drive in Boone. This search warrant was the conclusion of an on-going investigation.
This investigation involved an ASU student, Evan James Sale. During the search of Sale’s residence, officers found a substantial variety of controlled substances. Officers seized amounts of MDMA (Ecstasy), Ketamine, Psilocybin (mushrooms), Xanax (pills), Nitrous Oxide (inhalant), LSD (Acid) and marijuana. Sale was charged with one count of each of the following:
Felony Possession with Intent to Sell & Deliver a Schedule IV Controlled Substance
Felony Possession of Schedule I MDMA.
Felony Possession of Schedule I LSD.
Felony Manufacturing a Schedule I Controlled Substance, Psilocybin
Felony Maintaining a Dwelling for Controlled Substances.
Misdemeanor Possession of a Schedule III Controlled Substance, Ketamine.
Misdemeanor Possession of Toxic Vapors.
The investigation into persons involved with Sale in the drug trade continues by the Boone Police Department.
