A bicyclist was rushed from the scene of a collision on the ASU campus just before 11 this morning after being struck by a turning Honda sedan.  A Boone Police car happened upon the accident moments after it occurred almost in front of the ASU Police Department at the parking deck entrance on Rivers Street.  The Boone officer asked for an ambulance respond emergency traffic to the scene.  ASU Police said  ASU student Susannah Wingfield, a 20 year old Junior, was traveling east on her bike in the bike lane on Rivers St. when struck by a 2012 Honda Fit driven by Amanda Kaye Wrenn, 43,from Blowing Rock.   Wingfield was taken to Watauga Medical Center suffering with minor injuries.  Wrenn was attempting to make a left turn from Rivers St. into the Katheryn Harper Hall parking lot when she struck the bicyclist.   ASU Police say they are still investigating this incident and no charges have been filed at this time.
