Four motorcyclists were injured in three separate motorcycle wrecks in two High Country Counties yesterday.  The first, in Avery, occurred on US 19E near Powdermill when the cycle of a Burke County man skidded in a curve and slid across the pavement. Ronald Rubin Hicks, 69, of Icard, suffered a possible hip fracture in the early afternoon crash, his passenger, 59-year old Patricia Solomon of Black Mountain, scrapes.  Both were taken to Spruce Pine Hospital for treatment while the state patrol cited Ronald Hicks for not having the motorcycle endorsement for carrying a passenger and making an unsafe movement.  A 321 North accident just after 2 yesterday afternoon injured Bobby Lee Chambers when his moped ran off the road in Sugar Grove.  He was transported by Watauga Medics to Watauga Medical Center and was charged with DWI and Failure to Maintain Lane Control. The third was a motorcycle accident in Todd in the Cascades Lane area, another skidding motorcycle and another injury.
