Appalachian Theater Input Sought PDF Print

The  Downtown  Boone  Development  Association  wants to outline the developing plans for The Appalachian Theater downtown in Boone in a public comment and information session  for  all  prospective  users of the theater.  The release says the session on will take place at 7pm  next  Tuesday, May  8th, and will be held in Room 421 of the Belk Library at Appalachian State University, 218 College Street in Boone. Ample  free  parking  is available  in  the Belk  Library  Parking  Deck,  and signage  in  the  library  will lead to  the meeting location.  Hosted by the High Country Theatre League, the session will  include  an  update  on  the  "Save  The  Appalachian  Theatre"  project,  a viewing of concept renderings for the renovation and new construction at the historic  venue,  and  an  overview  of  organizational,  operational  and programmatic issues being studied by the theatre task force.  ALL potential user  groups  are  strongly  encouraged  to  attend  and  will  be  given  ample opportunity to provide input, fill out a needs assessment survey, and get their questions  answered  by  key  members  of  this  exciting  regional  effort.  For more information, please contact DBDA Coordinator Pilar Fotta at 262.4532 or via email at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
