Crimestoppers: Car Break-in Leads to Fraud PDF Print

Watauga County Crimestoppers requests your help in identifying the person(s) responsible for the following crime(s): On Monday, 04-16-2012 between the hours of 10 and 11pm, a vehicle was forcibly entered in the Applebees parking lot and items were stolen. Among the items stolen were two debit cards and those cards were fraudulently used at Walmart in Boone and a nearby Scotchman convenience store. Two black male suspects were recorded making the transactions by Walmart surveillance cameras.

Anyone with information on identifying this subject is asked to call Crimestoppers at 828-268-6959 or the Boone Police Department at 828-268-6900.  All information will be kept confidential. Crimestoppers pays rewards for information, which leads to arrests; recovery of stolen property; seizure of drugs and the location of wanted persons.
