Injunction Sought to Stop New River Equipment Distruction PDF Print

After our news story about destruction of New River Behavioral Healthcare equipment—computers, printers and other office equipment, plus furniture, the attorney for the 65 former New River employees suing the board and its members, filed a motion Friday "to cease the destruction of evidence," computers and furniture from New River.  Matthew Ross, one of the plaintiffs in the suit, said that they’re hoping to prevent the total liquidation of the former mental health agency while their group seeks some $1.5 million in compensation for unpaid vacation and other losses.  Just how timely the action is remains to be seen.
