A Wilkes county woman reported that she was raped early Sunday morning at a residence in Wilkesboro.  The 47-year old Miller’s Creek woman reported she was at a residence on Elm Street with a friend who left the trailer and another man there approached the woman,

began making advances on her and forced her into a bedroom.  There, the man blocked the woman from leaving, took her clothing off and forced himself on her.  The 9-1-1 call came in just after 3am, the victim reporting the crime from Wilkes Regional Medical Center.  Some identification of the black male perpetrator was provided police, but so far, no arrest has been reported.
