Funds needed to start up the season for the Johnson County Little League are missing, as the League's former treasurer has been charged with embezzling money from the league's account. The Johnson City Press reports that Jennifer H. Icenhour, treasurer for the league in the 2010 and 2011 seasons,

was indicted by a Johnson County grand jury and charged with theft over $1,000. Sheriff Mike Reece told the paper  the league's Board of Directors contacted the District Attorney General's Office to request an investigation into funds missing from the league's account. The Sheriff's Department investigated, leading to Icenhour's indictment last Tuesday. That lead to Jennifer Icenhour being arrested Wednesday and taken to the Sheriff's Department. Bond was set at $5,000, and a Johnson County Criminal Court appearance was set for April 18.
