|Felon Found with Firearm Arrested in Avery|

Last Tuesday, officers with the Avery County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call about a man with a gun and a spotlight on Henson Creek Rd. Arriving in area, the deputies met and arrested 54 year old William Justice of Newland, charging Justice with three counts of Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.
He has also been charged with a Probation Violation in connection with this incident.
