A Blowing Rock woman was airlifted to Johnson City Medical Center after the crash of her SUV Friday afternoon.  Victoria Knox Dunlap of 251 Saddle Hills Road, Blowing Rock, ran off the road on Henderson Gap Road just off US 221 south of Blowing Rock—and near to her home—(Photo Courtesy Blowing Rock Fire/Rescue) her 2010 Subaru Forester flipping over off the road, crashing into trees.  The 37-year old was pinned between the crushed roof and crumpled dash on her car, and Blowing Rock Fire/Rescue worked quite a while to carefully remove Dunlap from the car, fearing a possible neck injury.  It was nearly an hour after the 2:55pm crash before she was rushed to the landing zone for the WINGS Air Rescue chopper, airlifted to the Tennessee hospital.  The state patrol said Friday that they were still investigating the cause of the crash and had not filed citations.
