It’s day two of Boone Area Chamber of Commerce’s Appalachian State University Appreciation Week, and students give the High Country a lot to appreciate, the Chamber’s Dick Hearn says.
Students spend money at area businesses, as well as provide a job pool for hotels and restaurants.
You don’t have to be in the chamber to give back. Joan Hearn says there are plenty of ways to show appreciation- and have fun in the process.
There's always something to do on campus. Hearn recommends music and theatre events.
The week ends Friday with the 8 a.m. Wake Up Watauga Breakfast at Dan’l Boone Inn.
