Kraut Creek Festival PDF Print

Howard will be closed from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. between Water Street and Depot Street for the Kraut Creek Festival Saturday.

It’s a free event, and while there are several children’s activities, there’s plenty to keep the adults entertained, Downtown Boone Development Association’s Tuesdae Rice says.

There will be plenty of live music, including celtic, country and jazz musicians.

From two to five, Barefoot Manor will be playing.

A Peace Celebration fair in the Holton Parking lot is another highlight. Local produce, face painting and environmental displays are some of the festivities.

The Festival is both family and pet friendly, Rice says- and she looks forward to seeing you in Boone on Saturday.
