Youth Catfish Derby Set PDF Print

Ashe County Parks and Recreation and the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission will be hosting their Fall Youth Catfish Derby on Saturday at Ashe County Park.  Gates open at 7 a.m., rain or shine. All youth are encouraged to come out and participate. There will be a three catfish per person limit and bait and rods will be provided free of charge for youth who want to participate, but don’t have their own equipment. Age groups include 6 and under, 7-11 years-old and 12-18 years-old. All tackle is legal to catch fish in the Ashe County Park Lake.
